Kodai Kulir Palam Recipe

Summer is the season when we crave for cool drinks, desserts and ice creams. For the calorie conscious and health freaks, here is a dish which combines fresh fruits, strawberry crush and delectable mint. With dark chocolate as garnish, this dessert is ‘manna’ from heaven. Prepare this wonderful Kulir Palam and relish it with your loved ones.

Recipe:

Ingredients

Quantity

Gelatine 75 g
Strawberry crush 500 ml
water 1 liter
Sugar 100 gm
Fresh fruits (apple, mango, litchi) 400 gm
Dark chocolate 50 gm
Mint 1 bunch

Method

  • Melt the gelatine in the hot water.
  • Add sugar & crush to the above.
  • Add cut fruits.
  • Chop mint leaves finely and add them to the mixture.
  • Set in a mould and put in the deep fridge for half an hour.
  • Take it out and melt the dark chocolate.
  • Garnish the dessert.  Keep it in the fridge (not the deep freeze) till you serve.
