Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar had some film scenes shot in Prague, Europe that enticed the Indian viewers.
Brooklyn Bridge Park
Karan Johar made his iconic film Kal Ho Naa Ho set in New York. Although New York is a place where many movies, both Hollywood and Bollywood, are conventionally shot, Karan had a different approach, and he decided to showcase lesser known places such as Brooklyn Bridge Park for some rewarding emotional sequences.
Another Karan Johar production – Dostana showed some great visuals of Miami Beach during the shooting for songs and some of the scenes. The director of photography in the movie did an excellent job of bringing out the truly exotic essence of the city of Miami. At the shore in Miami Beach, visitors can indulge in swimming, surfing, and jet skiing in the warm and crystal-clear Atlantic waters. You can also spend some hours napping on the white sands, or you can also simply watch the beautiful people, especially at South Beach, a favourite with models and celebrities.
Greece is one other place that Indian movies turn to for songs. The movie Bachna Ae Haseeno had the song Khuda Jane shot in the beautiful exotic valleys of Greece, which melted the heart of the Indian audience.
