Achalgarh Fort

It is situated just 11kms north of Mount Abu. It is one of the most visited forts in Mount Abu built by the famous Rajput ruler, Rana Kumbha. It houses many historic relics and sculptures. Guru Shikhar TempleGuru

This temple located at a height of 1772 metres above sea level and at a distance of 15 Kms from Mount Abu. A mesmerising view from this hilltop is to die for. The Guru Dattatreya temple has immense religious significance as it believed that the deity is an incarnation of Lord Hindu, Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. A huge bell is suspended from the main entrance of the temple which has an inscription of 1411 AD. One way to reach this temple is by taking the Guru Shikhar road after Oriya road.

Adhar Devi Temple

This temple is just 3Kms north of the main town of Mount Abu. This temple is devoted to the Lord Durga. It received a lot of pilgrimage tourists during the 9 holy days of Navratri. In order to reach the top, one has to climb 365 stairs and crawl through a small hole into the cave to see the deity. The picturesque and scenic view surrounding the temple makes this whole climb worth it.

Mount Abu Wildlife SanctuarySanctuary

According to the history, Asiatic lions and Bengal tigers were spotted in this Sanctuary decades ago but the common animals now found there are mongoose, leopard, sloth bear, wild boar and hedgehog.  More than 250 species of birds can be seen here out of which the most prominent ones are jungle owl and Avadavat.
