Pan grilled seer darne with lemony and orange sauce

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup butter
  2. 1 tsp olive oil
  3. 1 lemon, juiced
  4. 30ml orange juice
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  7. 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  8. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  9. 150gms seer fillets
  10. 2 tablespoon lemon pepper

Directions

For sauce

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Mix  lemon juice,  orange juice, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, and garlic. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cook and stir for about 10 minutes, until thickened.

For Fish

  1. Marinate the seer darne with below ingredients for 5 minutes.
    1. lemon, juiced
    2. salt to taste
    3. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    4. 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
    5. 3 cloves garlic, minced
    6. 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  2. Place seer darne on the fry pan at medium heat.
  3. Add 1 tsp olive oil in the pan and grill  for 2 1/2 mins each side of the darne.
  4. Now sprinkle lemon pepper and cover it with foil to have a juicy steak.
  5. Grill until the fish can be flaked with a fork.
  6. Now pour the remaining sauce mixture over the fish to serve.

Tip

To check if a fish fillet is done, gently poke a fork into the flesh of the fish and twist gently. If the flesh flakes apart easily, then the fish is done.
